Brown Bag Films are an Academy Award nominated animation studio producing 2D and 3D character animation for an international client base. Owned and managed by Cathal Gaffney and Darragh O'Connell, Brown Bag Films are located in Dublin, Ireland and have an recently established an office in Toronto, Canada.

Recent productions include 'Wobbly Land' a High Definition 26 part series for HIT Entertainment and Nickelodeon UK. 'I'm an Animal' for RTE/IFB has  been sold to over 80 broadcasters including Nickelodeon UK, RAI Italy and TV Ontario Canada. An animated teenage soap 'Crap Rap' and a 30 part series 'Teenology' for national broadcaster RTÉ.

In 2002, their Academy Award nominated short film, and subsequent series, 'Give Up Yer Aul Sins' became the best-selling video in Ireland for 2002. Brown Bag Films are currently in production with a 52 X 11 min High Definition 3D animation series, 'Olivia' for Nickelodeon US and Chorion UK.

In commercial productions, Brown Bag have produced a number of award winning commercials. Recent commercial work for clients include: Coca Cola, The National Lottery, SKY News, Vodafone, Aer Lingus, Danone, Guinness and many others.
     
Employing more than 50 full time staff, Brown Bag Films are equipped with a state of the art High Definition picture and Audio post production facility ensuring no aspect of production needs to be outsourced.
