“THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL” Boulder Media update!

 

Boulder Media are close to completion on their latest project ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’. The project which is a co-production between Boulder Media and Dandelion Studios for Turner Broadcasting began production in August 2009. With a staff of forty two Boulder have produced 36 x11 mins episodes. “It’s a very ambitious show, combining 3D, 2D and live action..” Says Robert Cullen, animation director, “but we’re very proud of the final results.” All animation, rendering and compositing were done in-house.

THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL will follow the adventures of mischievous blue cat Gumball both at home and at school in the town of Elmore. Featuring a host of wonderful characters, Gumball’s school-friends include a goldfish, a tyrannosaurus rex, a cheerleading peanut, and a banana. The show will be aired on Cartoon Network in 2011, the final air date TBA.
