Meet Oscar nominated and BAFTA winning Polish animator Tomasz Baginski at the 6th Polish Film Festival Dublin in November
KINOPOLIS - 6th Polish Film Festival in Dublin this November
KINOPOLIS Polish Film Festival in Dublin is taking place this November 2011 from the 3rd to the 6th. Embracing the Irish Film Institute, Cineworld Cinema and Centre for Creative Practices, KINOPOLIS is the most anticipated celebration of Polish Cinema in Ireland.

This year, the Festival will enter a new cinematic dimension with two Polish 3D productions: The Battle of Warsaw and The Flying Machine. Among this year's guests there will be animator Tomasz Baginski, Oscar nominee for The Cathedral and the BAFTA winner for the Fallen Art, and Roma Gasiorowska, one of the greatest Polish actresses of young generation.
Irish animators and students are invited to meet Tomasz Baginski in Filmbase on Sun Nov 6. The entry is free of charge. Baginski will talk about his work and experience as a self-taught artist. The event is supported by Pegbar and ISA/BCFE. The talk will be followed by the animation block in the IFI Cinema, which will embrace The Kinematograph, The Cathedral and the Animated History of Poland.
