Profile Keg Kartoonz was established in 2003 to develop and produce TV animated series. Keg's first completed series, Fadó Fadó was produced using a combination of live action and animation. In the series, children illustrate and tell their versions of traditional tales. Their own designs are then used to create the animation for the stories. 26 x 5 minutes of Fadó Fadó have been completed to date. The first series of The Mad Cows, a comedy adventure of bovine dimensions, (with support from RTE and The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland) has been completed and broadcast on RTE. The series follows the adventures of a group of cattle who suddenly find themselves being able to walk and talk; to cap it all, they even have opposable hooves! A second series is in pre-production. Keg Kartoonz also have a number of other projects in development. Keg Kartoonz is owned and managed by Michael Algar, Adrian Mulvey and Noel Kelly who between them have close to 50 years experience in the animation industry.
