Brown Bag Films® are award winning animation studio producing high quality 2D and 3D character animation for the international market. Owned and managed by Cathal Gaffney and Darragh O’Connell, Brown Bag Films are located in the heart of Dublin City but also have an office in Toronto, Canada. In 2002, their short film ‘Give Up Yer Aul Sins’ was nominated for an Academy Award®.

Brown Bag Films have two main areas of business: Long format television production and Commercials. Their TV production side has worked on a number of high profile international series. Recent productions include ‘Wobblyland’ for HIT Entertainment/ Nickelodeon UK, the animated teenage soap ‘Crap Rap’ for national broadcaster RTÉ and “Olivia”, for Nickelodeon US. They are currently in production with a 52 part series “Noddy in Toyland” for FIVE UK.

In commercial productions, Brown Bag have produced a number of award winning commercials for clients including: Coca Cola, The National Lottery, SKY News, Vodafone, Aer Lingus, Danone, Guinness and many others.
