PlanetPatrollers is a company that entertains children about environmental problems in a fun way. Founded by Anne-Marie Duffy in March 2006 and based in the Innovation Centre at Castlebar, Co Mayo. Anne-Marie was selected for a programme, which provided her with the business skills, networks and supports that were necessary to navigate the start-up process. This programme allowed the PlanetPatrollers to be founded and developed into a commercial product.
PlanetPatrollers is a superhero-animated children’s series with a multi-layer humorous technique, aimed at International markets. It highlights the ‘feel-good-factor’ associated with ‘being green’ with a particular emphasis attached to recycling. Contact: Anne-Marie Duffy Managing Director
