Studio Rua is the latest animation company to come from Ireland's green shores. They were founded by National Film School graduate Padraig Mannion, and boast a team of some of the brightest young sparks in Irish content creation and software development. They have been based in the Digital Hub in Dublin since they were established in August 2007. As a budding entrepreneur, Padraig founded Rua to deliver the next generation of animation content and children's entertainment. "We see the huge changes in the next few years as online and broadcast media continue to grow closer together, and as revenue streamsfrom advertisers demand new ways of delivering what people want. Things are going to be very different soon, and I'm really excited about that" Focusing on new technologies and the shift in both content creation and consumption, Rua have their eyes firmly locked on the horizon.
