Telegael is one of Ireland's leading television and new media groups. The group's activities include programme production, programme financing, provision of production and post production facilities, digital outside broadcast, animation and subtitling. The Telegael group employs 50 people fulltime. In addition to its productions for the home market, Telegael works with a number of international co-production partners in the development, production and financing of television programming and animation for the international market.

Between 2004 and 2007, Telegael received 7 EMMY nominations – successfully winning the award in 2004 for its animation series Tutenstein co-produced with PorchLight Entertainment and Discovery Kids and again in 2007 for the second series of Tutenstein. In 2007 Telegael received an IFTA for the teenage live action series Aifric.
Telegael is interested in expanding its international co-production and co-financing activities by establishing links with production companies and broadcasters in other countries.
